Dough Prep

1. 1Pour the cold milk into a bowl and stir the yeast into it. Add egg, flour, sugar, salt, and cardamom and knead the dough until it is smooth and starts to let go of the bowl. 2. 2Finely dice the butter, add it to eh dough and knead for another 8-10 minutes until the dough is quite smooth and doesn't stick to the bowl. Put the dough into a plastic box with a lid and leave to proof for half an hour on the kitchen table if using later in the day, otherwise put it in the fridge overnight.5.29 oz Butter
